Product description


Photovoltaic wire, also known as PV wire, is a single-conductor wire used to connect the panels of a photovoltaic electric energy system. PV systems, or solar panels, are electric-power production systems that capture sunlight in order to produce electricity through an energy conversion process.


Conductor used in solar cables should be of pure EC grade which results to minimised line losses and project being reliable

Cables should have high grade insulation which has capability to withstand extreme bad weather conditions and have sufficient UV resistance properties which gives safety and long life to solar system.

For more safety and life, we should use tinned coated copper conductor, which protect conductor from moisture and chemical reaction on copper for a long term.


Application: Intended for use in photovoltaic power supply system. These may be installed as free moving, fixed or hanging. They can also be installed in cable trays, conduits, on or in walls.

2. The insulation resistance: the finished insulation resistance of cable at 20 ℃ should not less than 1014 Ω. Cm, finished cable insulation resistance at 90 ℃ is not less than 1011 Ω. Cm
3. The sheath surface resistance: resistance of the finished cable sheath surface should be not less than 109 Ω.
