Connector Description

The new 1500V solar connector is a robust DC connector triple-certified to EN50521 1500V (Class A), and JET 1500V specifications, making it available for usage in all major global PV markets. This connector is an evolution of the well-known H4 connector and is globally certified to mate with the H4. It features low resistance contact technology, accepting wire gauges from 14AWG/2.5mm² to 8 AWG/10mm², with an IP67 rating.

Assembly Instructions

For protection against electric shock, PV Connectors must be isolated from the power supply during assembly or disassembly. The end product must provide protection from electric shock.

PV plug connections must not be unplugged while under load. They can be placed in a no-load state by switching off the DC/AC converter or breaking the AC circuit interrupter. Plugging and unplugging while under voltage is permitted.

Disconnected connectors should be protected from dirt and water with sealing caps. Plugged parts are watertight IP67.
